Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to your direct leader. Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Perform other duties as required. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases and ensure the store is clean and organized. Provide outstanding customer service to enhance shopping experiences. Offer feedback to management on product availability, inventory accuracy, and store issues. Assist in taking inventory counts and monitor for accuracy. Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses. Stocker Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. Follow merchandising planograms for optimal product displays. Organize new inventory and manage empty packaging. Operate machinery following all safety procedures. Store Associate Responsibilities: Assist with Curbside Shopping orders. Act as both cashier and stocker as needed. Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store regularly. Ability to stock items weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service. Detail-oriented in maintaining cleanliness to company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies effectively. Excellent verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, with strong time management and team collaboration skills. Knowledge of the company's products and services. Ability to operate a cash register accurately. Compliance with state and local requirements for selling alcohol. Ability to safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Stockers must have morning availability, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
