As a Part-Time Level 2 Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in leading our store, supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, and fostering a passionate team. Your enthusiasm for engaging with customers will help build lasting relationships, making every visit special. What You'll Do: Assist the Store Manager in reaching sales and comp goals. It's about the results! Support recruitment, development, and retention of a collaborative and passionate team. Act as the #1 advocate for the store by creating excitement through promotions, social media engagement, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Provide effective operational leadership, balancing operations and customer-first selling practices. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and staff schedules diligently. Maintain open communication with retail leadership and HQ partners regarding trends and customer feedback. Utilize sales data and reports to develop strategies that meet sales targets. Merchandise the store creatively by following planograms and executing promotions timely. Work closely with the Store Manager to cultivate a team of high-performing, customer-focused associates. What You'll Need: 1-2 years of experience in retail store management, coupled with a love for music and pop culture. Proven experience in leading teams toward success, with strong skills in communication, operations, recruiting, and team development. Exceptional abilities in time management, professionalism, and a commitment to developing your team. A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus. A positive mindset that thrives in the fast-paced retail environment. Ability to navigate the store efficiently, handle merchandise, and lift up to 50 pounds.
