You'll support our leadership team in ensuring our customers find the merchandise they love while utilizing your fandom knowledge to train and develop new team members. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide an exceptional shopping experience that keeps customers coming back, utilizing your extensive product knowledge and outstanding customer service skills. Step up and provide leadership support on the sales floor when needed, ensuring a smooth operation at all times. Take responsibility for store operations, including opening and closing as required. Process sales transactions at the register, driving additional sales through your fandom knowledge and utilizing services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand and contribute to store sales plans, comp sales goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Dollar Transaction (ADT). Assist in executing planogram changes, which include store maps, product placement, and merchandising strategies. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners to help keep the store's offerings fresh and relevant. Collaborate with management to prevent theft and ensure a secure shopping environment. Help maintain an organized stock room and a tidy sales floor to provide a pleasant shopping atmosphere. Support the development of a collaborative and passionate team culture in your store. Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 1 year of retail experience; a passion for music and pop culture is essential! Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and mentoring team members. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. The ability to navigate the store, handle merchandise using store equipment, and lift boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.85 an hour. Pay may vary based on education, location, experience, and qualifications.
