Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN physician to join our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California.

Our collaborative, team-based program provides 24/7 in-house obstetric and gynecologic care, with one physician covering at a time. This role offers the opportunity to practice hospital-based obstetrics in a highly supportive environment with strong specialty backup.

Responsibilities include:

• OB triage, patient evaluation, and management
• Delivery attendance and surgical assistance
• Emergency Cesarean deliveries (support available from trauma surgery if needed)
• Gynecologic consults and urgent/emergent surgery
• Fetal monitoring and ED coverage for OB/GYN patients

You’ll work closely with local OBGYNs, MFM specialists at a nearby sister hospital, and an in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine physicians.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted California medical license
• Current DEA license
