As a Night Shift Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daytime operations of our restaurant, ensuring every guest receives a top-notch experience. In this role, you’ll support the General Manager by overseeing daily restaurant operations and providing leadership to our dedicated team. Your mission will be to deliver great food and service, maintaining a clean and efficient environment for our guests. Here’s what you will be doing: Train, monitor, and inspire Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to provide exceptional service. Assign and direct employees to ensure all food service aspects meet operational standards. Ensure compliance with our employee handbook and practices to maintain high standards. Handle restaurant opening and closing duties as needed. Manage staffing and inventory levels, along with food cost control. Conduct weekly inventory as necessary. Assist with administrative tasks, including file maintenance and documentation. Foster a customer-first attitude, making guest satisfaction your top priority. Quickly and respectfully address guest requests and help resolve any complaints. Requirements for the Night Shift Assistant Manager: Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Solid understanding of the restaurant industry, particularly quick service restaurant (QSR) management. A minimum of six months experience in restaurant management or one year in entry-level retail management. Strong communication skills along with basic math, reading, and computer abilities. Ability to follow directions and work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to maintaining SONIC's uniform and hygiene standards.
