We're looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our partner's respected healthcare practice in Edmond, Oklahoma. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys patient interaction, can juggle phones and scheduling with ease, and takes pride in keeping both patients and staff supported in a busy medical office.
Reports to: Front Office Supervisor Location: Edmond, Oklahoma (onsite) Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Why the role is open: Growing patient volume and practice expansion

As a Patient Services Representative, you'll ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient who calls or walks through the door.
Key responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and timely manner Register new patients and update returning patient records in the EMR system Verify insurance information and obtain all required consent forms and signatures Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and past-due balances Answer and route incoming calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries promptly Accurately schedule appointments for providers, labs, and imaging services Prepare and send new patient packets and manage no-show follow-up letters Balance the daily cash drawer according to practice protocol Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards Support clinical and administrative staff with additional front office tasks REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required At least 2 years of customer service experience; medical office experience preferred Proficiency with computers; EMR/Practice Management system experience a plus Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to use a multi-line phone system Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Fast-paced medical office setting with frequent patient interaction Daily sitting, standing, walking, and bending; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs Extended periods of computer and phone work Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and biohazards
