We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic Behavioral Health team. As part of an integrated care model, you’ll play a vital role in supporting providers and patients in a fast-paced, team-based setting focused on mental and emotional wellness. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and prepare patients for visits, collecting vital signs and health information
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice
  • Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Help manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations
  • Coordinate patient flow, help maintain a calm and welcoming environment
  • Schedule patient appointments and conduct outreach to support continuity of care
  • Support patients with education and resources related to mental health treatment as directed by the provider
  • Participate in team huddles, training and continuous quality improvement efforts

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
  • Experience or interest in behavioral health or integrated care settings
