We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic Behavioral Health team. As part of an integrated care model, you'll play a vital role in supporting providers and patients in a fast-paced, team-based setting focused on mental and emotional wellness. Key Responsibilities
Welcome and prepare patients for visits, collecting vital signs and health information Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within your scope of practice Administer medications in accordance with provider orders and within the Medical Assistant scope of practice Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Help manage prescription refill requests and medication reconciliations Coordinate patient flow, help maintain a calm and welcoming environment Schedule patient appointments and conduct outreach to support continuity of care Support patients with education and resources related to mental health treatment as directed by the provider Participate in team huddles, training and continuous quality improvement efforts We Offer a Cadillac Benefits Package : Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time off (PTO) and Paid Vacation Life Insurance 401(k) with up to 4% Employer Match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Tuition Assistance (after 12 months of employment, up to $4,000/year) And More! Requirements Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency Experience or interest in behavioral health or integrated care settings
