Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience
• Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine (Hospitalist specialty preferred)
• Active, unrestricted Idaho medical license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• DEA license required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by facility
• Must be able to provide MD diploma, internship/residency/fellowship certificates, medical licenses, life support cards, professional photo/headshot, CME records, immunization records, references, and case logs for credentialing

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a hospitalist physician, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
• Cover overnight shifts and weekend coverage as scheduled for the hospitalist team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—nursing, specialists, case management—to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, complying with facility protocols and regulatory requirements
• Participate in transitions of care, handoffs, and quality improvement initiatives
