Qualifications / Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine (Hospitalist specialty preferred)
Active, unrestricted Idaho medical license (or ability to obtain quickly)
DEA license required
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by facility
Must be able to provide MD diploma, internship/residency/fellowship certificates, medical licenses, life support cards, professional photo/headshot, CME records, immunization records, references, and case logs for credentialing
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a hospitalist physician, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
Cover overnight shifts and weekend coverage as scheduled for the hospitalist team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—nursing, specialists, case management—to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, complying with facility protocols and regulatory requirements
Participate in transitions of care, handoffs, and quality improvement initiatives
