Manage complex employment litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft, research, and argue motions in state and federal courts Conduct thorough factual investigations and case analysis Take and defend depositions of key witnesses and parties Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategies and risk assessments Support pre-litigation counseling and advice as needed

Job Details

The Labor & Employment team is recognized nationally for advising a diverse roster of employers — from large multinational corporations to innovative startups — on all aspects of workplace law. Their practice spans wage and hour issues, class and collective actions, discrimination and harassment matters, executive agreements, layoffs, ERISA, and union-related work. As the team continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced associate who is eager to contribute to a high-performing and collaborative environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. with at least 5 years of employment litigation experience Admission to the California Bar in good standing Strong academic credentials Demonstrated excellence in written and oral advocacy Experience handling depositions and high-level motion practice Proven ability to work effectively within a team and manage cases independently Commitment to spending at least three days per week in the San Francisco office
