As part of the Optum Behavioral Care group, your role will be crucial in our mission to enhance healthcare for everyone. In this position as a Licensed Clinical Therapist/Independent Licensed Therapist, you will address a broad spectrum of mental health issues that reflect the diverse needs of our patient population. You will provide comprehensive behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. Key Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with patients and coordinate care with external providers. Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and deliver ongoing medication management. Engage in the education and training of our graduate students. Screen and assess patients for a range of mental health and substance use disorders. Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, for diverse mental health conditions. Monitor treatment effectiveness and adapt care as necessary based on changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects. Represent the practice in community presentations and lectures. Maintain precise electronic medical records (Athena) and ensure compliance with all regulations. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field. Active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in your state of practice. Preferred Qualifications: Over 2 years of clinical experience post-Master's degree. Direct psychotherapy experience with individuals and families. Proficient in using technology for communication and documentation, including Excel, Outlook, and EHRs like Athena RMS. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively. Connecting. Growing together. The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay varies based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all minimum wage laws.
