This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a school setting. Serving students ranging from Pre-K through high school, you will play a critical role in enhancing communication skills and supporting individual learning needs across diverse grade levels including early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. * Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom environment. * Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication disorders in a school setting. * Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and legal guidelines. * Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success and compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
* Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, from early childhood through high school levels. * Strong understanding of developmental communication disorders and appropriate intervention strategies. * Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, educators, and families. * Ability to work within a contract position, meeting the scheduling and needs of the school district.
