Position Summary The Entry-Level Shift Supervisor Trainee position is designed as a short-term opportunity that prepares you for a rewarding supervisory career, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. In this role, you will receive hands-on training that will equip you with essential skills for effective management, customer service excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of the CVS business culture. Upon successfully completing the training program, you will have the chance to be considered for advancement to supervisor roles within the store management team. You will play a vital role in supporting management by overseeing store operations and ensuring outstanding customer service. When management is unavailable, you will take the lead in guiding the store staff and ensuring all operational procedures are followed. Essential Functions: Management: Collaboratively work with store management and crew members. Supervise and guide store crew tasks by assigning, directing, and following up. Efficiently communicate information between store management and crew. Customer Service: Assist customers in resolving questions, problems, and complaints. Uphold and promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and expressing gratitude. Address customer relations issues in line with company policy to ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain confidentiality of customer and patient information. Required Qualifications: Strong deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a retail environment. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours: 15 Time Type: Part time Pay Range: The typical pay for this position ranges from $16.00 to $24.00 per hour.
