Join our dedicated team as a Donor Support Technician where you play a vital role in supporting the pheresis process. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing the donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process. Setting up and monitoring the autopheresis machine during the procedure. Being vigilant in observing donors for any reactions and promptly notifying appropriate staff when needed. Recording incidents during the pheresis process using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and ensuring accurate donor data is entered into our electronic management system. Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace while managing necessary supplies. Adhering to all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) procedures. Ensuring the confidentiality of all donor, personnel, and center information. Being open to cross-training in other areas as needed. Performing additional job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of three (3) months of experience in a medical or health environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic math skills are essential.
