Overview
As a Bilingual Retail Cashier, your primary role is to warmly greet and thank each customer entering and leaving the store. You will become proficient in our cashiering system and all related paperwork. Maintaining a neat and clean store environment is essential, and you will answer phone inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism. Additionally, you will assist management with various tasks such as stocking, visual displays, special orders, and general housekeeping.

Expertly handle various transactions, including: Cash Sales
Check Sales
Non-taxable Sales
Credit Card Transactions
Voids
Exchanges
Accurately record all sales and funds at the time of each transaction.
Assist with stocking merchandise and keep the store tidy as required.
Encourage customers to consider add-on purchases and highlight store specials.
Arrive for work promptly, looking professional and well-groomed.
Maintain security awareness at all times.
Respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries by phone regarding sales, promotions, store location, prices, and inventory.
Stay updated on current promotions.
Practice effective inventory control, particularly for boots.
Check for mismatched boot pairs.
Follow company policy regarding commission sales and validate all sales tickets.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Collaborate with supervisors to achieve the company's performance goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
Capable of lifting and lowering objects during your shift.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
Able to understand and follow basic instructions.
Skills in interpreting documents and effectively communicating.
Aptitude for analyzing information and preparing reports.
Must remain alert during assigned work hours.
