Bilingual Retail Cashier Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Retail Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face welcoming customers and ensuring their shopping experience is exceptional. Your primary responsibilities include managing transactions using our Cavender's Boot City cashiering system, maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, and supporting management with various tasks. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and being part of a motivated team. Duties and Responsibilities Embrace and promote the "Cavender's Culture" while driving our Mission, Vision, and Values. Accurately and efficiently perform all cashiering tasks. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. Understand and adhere to CBC policies and procedures. Be knowledgeable about all CBC cashiering transactions, including Cash Sales, Check Sales, Non-taxable Sales, Credit Cards, Voids, and Exchanges. Enter all sales and money in the register at the time of sale. Assist with stocking merchandise and organizing the store as needed. Proactively suggest possible add-on purchases to customers and promote store specials. Report to work on time, neatly groomed, and dressed appropriately. Maintain a security-conscious mind at all times. Provide knowledgeable answers to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, store location, pricing, and inventory. Stay informed about sales promotions, including items and prices. Practice inventory control on boots and check for mis-mates. Follow company policy regarding commission sales and validate all sales tickets. Perform any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Collaborate with supervisors to understand necessary actions for achieving company goals. Qualifications and Requirements Ability to regularly lift or lower objects from one level to another during your shift. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions. Skilled in interpreting documents and responding effectively. Capability to analyze information and write reports.
