Position Summary: The Athletics Marketing and Creative Services Coordinator reports to the Assistant Athletic Director in Communications. This position is responsible for executing marketing efforts and promotions on game day, creating content (written, video, and graphic) for MSU Denver Athletics, and developing new digital and social communication strategies. Additionally, the role involves creating media marketing, digital media advertising, and coordinating game day operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Implement marketing of promotions and events across all communication channels. Plan, direct, and execute game day production efforts for various sports, including creating scripts, managing music/band promotions, videos, cheer/mascot activities, and overseeing external fan engagement interns. Manage event presentation, game experience, and sponsorship activation, including scripting, videoboard content creation, and managing game day staff. Collaborate with campus departments to promote athletics and increase school spirit. Coordinate campus activation methods for game promotion and exposure. Fulfill sponsorship contracts, including signage, announcements, promotions, and logo recognition. Manage daily athletics e-blasts, newsletters, ticket promotions, and weekly emails. Assist in managing the athletics intern program and schedule grassroots initiatives. Prepare videoboard elements for home basketball and volleyball games. Adhere to NCAA, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, MSU Denver, and departmental rules, reporting violations as required. Support the communications team during game days, including video broadcast and sports information tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, graphic design, communications, sports management, or related field. Experience with social media and marketing to promote programs or events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or sports management. Experience in intercollegiate athletics. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, etc.). Experience in video broadcasting and sports information. Salary Range: $53,000 - $58,000 annually, paid monthly, with benefits.
