Job mission: The Associate Global Retail Operations Manager, Workforce Management (WFM) will play a key role in the implementation, management, and ongoing support of our Workforce Management solution across global New Balance retail stores. You will collaborate with regional business partners to configure our retail scheduling platform in alignment with global compliance standards, while tailoring solutions to local requirements. This foundational role supports continuous optimization, enhances workforce productivity, and backs an evolving retail operating model focused on operational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct discovery sessions with key stakeholders to refine demand inputs and optimize workforce planning Lead WFM program efforts with a blend of operational expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and change management Consult with HR globally and by region to ensure labor laws per country/locality are configured to requirements Support tech partners in Integration Testing and collaborate with field leadership and pilot stores for User Testing; troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed Customize views for leadership with clear reporting of labor demand, KPIs, and HR compliance Facilitate conversations with Global Training Team to develop operational training materials for Admin, Retail Leadership, and Store UX roles Update and maintain system releases to align with policy changes, labor laws, and evolving business needs Use data analysis to identify opportunities to enhance workforce efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels Maintain post-implementation partnerships with regional leaders to refine WFM processes based on feedback and best practices Relationships Liaise with corporate and regional retail partners to advocate global adoption of WFM across NB stores Coordinate platform updates with regional partners Collaborate with external stakeholders to gather best practices and industry standards for WFM Monitor system performance with tech partners and resolve issues or gaps Train and develop teams on platform tools and functionality Plan and execute collaborative meetings, workshops, and educational sessions Requirements for success 3 years’ experience in regional/global retail operations Experience in a Workforce Management role preferred Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic team Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Experience with developing, implementing, and measuring retail programs Experience with project management Strong influential, engaging, and persuasive communication skills Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills Benefits We offer a comprehensive traditional benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K.
