Assistant Retail Manager Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Retail Manager to oversee store operations, enhance customer service, and foster team growth. Key responsibilities include: Support daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow Engage with customers warmly, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues Assist in the handling and organization of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor Execute opening and closing duties to maintain store readiness Implement corporate directives including inventory management and compliance tasks Ensure effective merchandising and promotional displays Contribute to merchandise ordering, record keeping, and loss prevention strategies Maintain store organization and cleanliness to meet company standards Safeguard company assets, including cash management Guide store associates in adherence to policies, safety protocols, and a positive environment Supervise, train, and support team members to promote a collaborative workplace Uphold cleanliness throughout all areas of the store Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives is essential Previous experience in retail management is advantageous Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and meeting physical demands such as walking, standing, and repetitive lifting. Required skills include strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, along with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
