What You'll Do As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support a Project Manager across all phases of construction while learning the ins and outs of managing high-end residential projects. You'll gradually take ownership of key tasks with the goal of becoming a stand-alone PM in the future. Your responsibilities will include: Attending client meetings and assisting with bid preparations Securing permits and ensuring all closeout documentation is completed, including Certificates of Occupancy Supporting the creation and maintenance of project schedules, including "mini-deadlines" for key milestones (e.g., framing, MEP, drywall, cabinetry, etc.) Organizing and filing all project documentation in shared drives according to company standards Assisting with labor planning and reviewing schedules with internal carpenters and subcontractors Helping identify, submit, and track Change Orders and Non-Standard (NS) work Approving and coding project-specific invoices Managing jobsite logistics-parking, cleanliness, signage, and daily security Maintaining detailed daily logs and communicating key updates with clients and the leadership team Learning and reinforcing Huseby Homes' operational roles-PM, Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, and Carpenter Supporting a culture of accountability, organization, and excellence on the jobsite What We're Looking For We're hiring someone who is early in their professional project management career -either fresh from a field leadership role or with some experience in project coordination in residential construction.
