Job Description As an Assistant General Manager for Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), you will play a vital role in overseeing the dynamic day-to-day operations of our counters. You’ll collaborate closely with the QSR General Manager and manage a talented team of service leads, baristas, sales associates, and stockers. Your responsibilities will include: Working alongside the QSR General Manager on management and operations Monitoring the budget to maintain efficient operations Ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience Creating staff schedules and managing payroll with the QSR General Manager’s approval Leading the hiring, training, motivation, evaluation, and termination processes Documenting, investigating, and resolving employee and guest incidents Estimating food and beverage needs and procuring supplies Supervising cleanliness and maintenance of equipment to meet health standards Sending daily shift notes to the QSR General Manager Performing additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2 years management experience in a counter-service or retail environment Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities Advanced proficiency in MS Office and experience with retail POS systems Knowledge and experience in coffee and espresso machine operation Job Requirements Flexible availability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Capacity for sustained mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, and bending Ability to operate equipment such as espresso machines, blenders, and cash registers Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with company match or RRSP Bonus program Free daily family meal Discounts at Eataly Classes on Italian cuisine and products Referral bonus program and more!
