Job Description
The Assistant General Manager for Quick Service Restaurants oversees the dynamic daily operations within the QSR at a single Eataly location, reporting directly to the QSR General Manager. You will manage and mentor our dedicated team of service leads, baristas, sales associates, and stockers.
Work collaboratively with the QSR General Manager on all management aspects.
Monitor budgets to ensure efficient operations and adherence to spending limits.
Guarantee that guest experience standards are consistently upheld.
Create employee schedules and submit payroll with QSR General Manager’s approval.
Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance, making staffing decisions as needed.
Document and resolve incidents involving employees and guests promptly.
Assess food and beverage needs; order and receive supplies while ensuring they meet specified quality standards.
Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of counters and equipment per Department of Health standards, coordinating repairs and services when necessary.
Communicate daily shift updates to the QSR General Manager.
Engage in additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 2 years management experience in a counter-service or retail environment.
Strong communication, leadership, motivational, and team-building skills.
Effective problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and retail POS systems (e.g., Micros).
Knowledge and experience in coffee, including coffee production and usage of manual espresso machines.
Compensation : The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000.
Job Requirements
Availability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Competency in operating equipment such as manual espresso machines, drink blenders, juicers, and cash registers.
