Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $24.50 | Year 3 - $25.25 | Year 4 - $25.25 | Year 5 - $26.25 Duties and Responsibilities: Your contributions are vital for our operation's success. - Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders. - Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following handling guidelines. - Sort, organize, and load merchandise accurately for shipments while unloading incoming deliveries. - Maintain a clean work area to meet appearance standards and safety protocols. - Participate in inventory counts adhering to company guidelines. - Collaborate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and warehouse leadership. - Provide feedback on process improvements to warehouse management. - Inspect products for quality and report any safety or sanitation issues. - Make independent decisions within your area of responsibility. - Assist in achieving warehouse budget goals by performing all tasks efficiently and accurately. - Follow ergonomic practices as per established procedures and operate equipment safely. - Notify management of any quality concerns and complete additional duties as required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Ability to interpret and apply company policies effectively. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements: - Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds. - Stand, sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse. - Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor settings and refrigerated environments. - Safely operate powered industrial machinery.
