1 year contract with the possibility of extension Shift Schedule Types of shifts: Standard: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. 1-hour lunch (unpaid) Overtime may be required to meet patient care demands (must be authorized before working OT) No holiday compensation (facility closed on Federal holidays) How many shifts are needed per month: 40 hours/week 21 22 shifts per month
(8-hour shifts) License Any valid U.S. State Radiologic Technologist license that meets federal employment requirements. Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR (ARDMS) BLS Experience Needed: At least
1 year
of recent experience as an X-ray Technologist Must have maintained continuous practice (no long recent gaps) Special Skills Needed: Ability to perform general diagnostic X-ray imaging. Ability to verify image quality and repeat images as needed. Experience with outpatient clinical radiology workflow. Understanding of radiation safety and shielding. Ability to work independently under a non-personal services contract. Credentialing / Onboarding Time:
6 8 weeks (typical for IHS onboarding) Responsibilities: Provide outpatient diagnostic radiologic imaging services. Produce quality radiologic images for medical officers and ordering providers. Follow all IHS policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Ensure proper patient identification and documentation. Maintain safe operation of X-ray equipment. Work cooperatively with clinical staff in Pinon Health Center. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA. Follow all administrative, infection control, and radiation safety policies. Comply with all standards required under a
non-personal services contract
(contractor is not supervised as a federal employee).
