Purpose Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant. Responsibilities Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments Assembles finished goods orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors Restocks corrugated and production’s needs Works with Production and Customer Service departments Assembles loads for other facilities as needed Assists in training of new employees Supports & complies with safety guidelines Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Good English writing & speaking skills Basic math skills Ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Basic computer systems knowledge Additional Info
