The Exceptions Management Team (EMT) Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in the warehouse environment with a primary focus on ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of exceptions. This role involves optimizing processes, maintaining inventory integrity through rigorous investigation and resolution, and ensuring overall departmental efficiency and cleanliness. The Exceptions EMT is critical in identifying, investigating, and resolving complex inventory and order discrepancies to support both productivity and customer satisfaction through timely problem resolution. Essential Duties. These are the duties that are considered essential and would be completed on a daily basis
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
Answer IB Exceptions tickets waiting on customer. Provide on the spot resolution of Exceptions encountered during the receiving process, ensuring efficient workflow in the PNDs with no roadblocks. Work with IC/QC in real time on timely resolution of inventory adjustments. Conduct necessary training within the department, regarding standard operating procedures (SOPs) and demonstrating best practices with the receivers. Provide real-time feedback to associates regarding performance and quality, addressing issues that do not align with expectations. Monitor and evaluate team member performance, providing coaching and support to associates who may struggle to meet goals. Ensure team adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), job instructions (JIs), safety protocols, and quality standards across all process paths. Act as the first point of escalation for exceptions issues, assisting in problem resolution before escalating to supervisors when necessary. Audit blocks in progress to ensure proper pallet and LP placement guidelines are being followed and that QC requirements are being met. Submit tickets for Exceptions in the system, ensuring timely timestamping at creation. Remove obstacles that may cause injury or delegate housekeeping/5S assignments to maintain a safe environment. Assist in onboarding and conducting necessary training for new and existing associates on exceptions prevention processes, quality standards, and equipment use. Utilizing the #ib-SPO-exceptions-escalation Slack channel to prioritize and escalate issues effectively and working with the FX team. Responsible for aging LPs in PDREC non-storage locations
Marginal Duties. These duties will be completed on an ad-hoc basis
Performing 5S and general housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy and safe environment. Assisting with training new team members on warehouse procedures and equipment operation. Participating in team meetings and providing input on process improvements. Assisting with special projects or tasks as assigned by warehouse management. Participate in facility cleanliness initiatives, including sweeping floors or organizing non-inventory items.
You may be required to labor share or move departments dependent on Operational needs.
