Warehouse Associate Needed on 2nd Shift in Houston, TX!

Staffmark is now hiring a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX, for a temp-to-hire role with a leading industrial and distribution company. Whether you're skilled in shipping and receiving, operating forklifts, or managing inventory, this role will keep you active, challenged, and on the path to long-term success.
Hours & Pay:
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
What You Bring to the Table:
2 years of warehouse experience in an industrial, semiconductor, or distribution environment
Hands-on shipping/receiving and forklift experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with inventory processing, reconciliation, and warehouse management systems
Dependability, punctuality, and a commitment to high performance
Ability to lift 50 pounds and adapt to workplace and organizational changes
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Accurately pull and pack customer orders, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Receive incoming products, verify accuracy, and prepare freight bills
Coordinate with freight carriers to ensure safe and on-time deliveries
Track inventory through cycle counting, shelf life monitoring, FIFO, and bin management
Label, package, and ship materials while minimizing errors and spill rates
Operate forklifts and RF guns in support of warehouse management systems (TWL experience is a plus)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment
