The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our distribution and fulfillment operations, ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently, effectively, and on-time. You will be leading a large team across multiple sites, driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and cost-reduction efforts, while managing large-scale budgets.
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's distribution and fulfillment operations, including logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Lead and develop a large, diverse team, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and morale. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost-reduction efforts across all distribution centers (DCs). Manage large-scale budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety within the organization. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align distribution and fulfillment strategies with overall business goals. Travel to DCs and corporate offices as required (estimated 25%+).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field required. 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience leading large-scale, multi-site distribution centers with automation and mechanization. Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse management systems. Proven ability to drive operational efficiency, labor optimization, process improvement, and safety performance. Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale budgets. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop large and diverse teams. Willingness to travel domestically as required (25% - 30%). Experience in big box retail (5+ years preferred).
