Job Description Instrumentation manufacturer expanding operations needs several Field Service Engineers to manage field repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments in process plants.  Ensure customers are happy and satisfied!  Stepping stone career opportunity into management or technical sales or engineering roles.  Will be based in Pittsburgh, PA for training with mostly travel within US and Canada. • Be self-sufficient and self motivated Scheduled road trips...rarely emergency calls. • Identify business opportunities and pass along to Sales & Marketing Earn commissions based on quoting repair costs and spare parts as well as identifying business opportunities for Sales & Marketing • Provide customer product training, SW checks, test networks · Work closely with Engineered  for special projects as well as New Product Initiatives - ensure new products are designed to be as easy as possible to service in the field. Qualifications Position Requirements: • Minimum 3- 5 years experience as a Field Service Engineer • BS Engineering or A.S. degree in electronics, equivalent military training, or prior work experience in HW andSW setups, troubleshooting computer networks, commissioning services ·  Ideally has knowledge of OPC, Modbus, software (C++, C#), PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley) • Mostly domestic but some International travel (Canada or South America) as required to address customer problems
