About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Retail Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct operational management of a portfolio of retail assets, with a focus on grocery-anchored shopping centers. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of each property, developing and implementing long-term strategies, and leading value-creating initiatives. The Vice President will also be instrumental in managing third-party property and leasing teams, executing the annual budget process, and ensuring that all leases are financially structured to maximize profitability. Additionally, the role includes providing oversight and support to the asset management analyst team, as well as working with the equity investment team to maintain accurate internal valuations.

Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, with a strong understanding of real estate finance principles. A minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience, including a background in the retail sector, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects, lead internal and external teams, and possess excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and Argus is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role also involves market research, property visits, and representing the company in the real estate community. A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a vested interest in the retail real estate profession is highly valued.
