The hourly base pay for this position ranges from $10 to $11, supplemented by $5 to $10 in tips per hour. Work Schedule: Shifts can vary, including AM/PM hours. SUMMARY The Valet Parking Attendant is tasked with providing excellent hospitality services to guests, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience. Key responsibilities include parking and retrieving vehicles promptly and safely, as well as assisting guests with luggage as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities in performing all functions. Responsibilities (with approximate time allocation): Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; acknowledge and greet guests within five feet. (25%) Welcome guests warmly using proper salutations; practice excellent phone etiquette. (10%) Safely park and retrieve vehicles and assist guests with their luggage. (20%) Provide guests with information on directions, taxis, reservations, and local attractions. (10%) Explain parking rates and procedures, issue claim checks, and complete all required vehicle documentation. (35%) QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or GED required. Licensure: Must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the state of employment. Experience: At least one month of related experience or a combination of education and experience. Knowledge: Familiarity with customer service principles and processes. Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, perform basic math, read and comprehend instructions, and operate manual transmission vehicles. SCOPE This role follows routine practices; work is checked regularly. Decisions are made within established operational guidelines. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS The following conditions represent what employees must meet to perform essential functions. Close and distant vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are required.
