Private Client Services (PCS) is a growing practice within EY, focused on serving privately held companies, their owners, and families. Our clients range from family-owned startups to multibillion-dollar private enterprises, reflecting a high-growth private company sector. You will work on technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects, impacting some of the most complex areas in tax. As part of a global team, you will be a key contact for clients and colleagues, receiving support tailored to your skills and experience. EY offers a dynamic environment for developing technical tax knowledge, leadership, and business acumen. The opportunity You’ll leverage your expertise to support our clients during a pivotal time. We offer competitive hourly pay, including overtime, and an environment to refine your skills within a high-performing tax team. Your Key Responsibilities As a seasonal tax manager, your main tasks may include reviewing complex individual tax returns, income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, partnership tax compliance, or S Corp tax compliance. Hours are flexible and discussed during the interview. This role is remote within the US with no travel required. Skills And Attributes For Success Strategic prioritization across multiple complex projects Influencing skills, confidence, and curiosity to question processes Technical writing and research in tax Experience reviewing complex tax returns Knowledge of High Net Worth and individual tax returns, and complex partnership compliance Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax Understanding of estate and wealth planning Research skills for tax issues and developing client insights Comfort working remotely in virtual teams Minimum Qualifications US CPA license or active state bar membership Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field At least 4 years of relevant tax compliance experience Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Proven excellence in tax accounting for financial statements at a top or mid-tier firm What We Look For We seek team players passionate about tax and its future, committed to high-quality work, relationship-building, and exceeding expectations.
