The type of equipment used includes High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Floating policy allows for coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, and more. Candidates must possess BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications. A minimum of two years of current acute care hospital RRT experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with Meditech experience. Advanced skills needed include current NICU/PICU experience. Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases. They utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery systems. Candidates should be team players, critical thinkers, and focused on patient care. Adaptability to change and a multidisciplinary approach to patient care are essential. The required uniform is light gray, also known as silver.
