The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and medication dispensing in a rural healthcare setting. This role focuses on ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of prescription medications, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify dosages. Provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, and interactions. Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of pharmaceuticals. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Support transitions of care, including long-term care and outpatient settings. Ax

Requirement Details

Experience Minimum 2 years pharmacy experience required

Certification Pharmacist license in California (must be active at submission)

Shifts M–F, 9 AM – 6 PM, no call, no weekends, no holidays

Overtime After 40 hrs/week @ $110/hr

Call Back Not applicable

Holiday Rate $110/hr if worked

Housing Shared housing provided by facility

Facility Size 121-bed critical access hospital (22 acute, 99 long-term care)
