Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist (hospital/oncology experience preferred)
  
• Certified Radiation Therapist – ARRT (T) certificate required
  
• BLS (AHA) certification required
  
• Ability to complete fingerprinting (remote or in-person at Jackson or Grenada campus)
  
• Influenza (flu) vaccine required (medical exemption with documentation accepted)
  
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by radiation oncologists and physicians
  
• Operate and support advanced treatment and imaging equipment including Varian Edge with HyperSight and Identify, Varian Ethos with Vision RT, Siemens Go Open Pro Simulator, and ARIA Record & Verify system
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC and ARIA; ensure compliance with charting best practices
  
• Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations as needed
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams (physicians, dosimetrists, medical physicists, nurses) to ensure high-quality patient care
  
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control standards, and institutional policies
