HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/30/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - Clinical Supervisor – Labor & Delivery Location: Washington, DC 20037 Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts (3x12s)/Hours per Week: 36 Contract Length: Approx. 13 weeks Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision and coordination of L&D operations during scheduled shifts Monitor staffing levels, patient assignments, safety, and patient flow Deliver direct patient care using best practices in maternal and neonatal care Serve as a role model for nursing excellence and organizational values Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives Support staff engagement, training, and professional development Ensure accurate documentation and use of Cerner EMR Requirements (Must-Have): Active RN license in the District of Columbia (or compact license applicable) Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience Previous supervisor or leadership experience in a clinical setting Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
EMR Experience: Cerner required
