About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified PCU RN in King City, California, 93930!Job TitleBreak RN NIGHT, RN, PCUCity/State: King City, CaliforniaShift: Night shift 7p to 7:30a, Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00Contract Length: 12 weeksStart Date: 05/04/2026Job Description:Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and through delegation of assignments by the Nurse House Supervisor, the RN will independently implement the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care throughout assigned hospital nursing departments. The RN demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients. The RN provides break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs working in the Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments. The RN may be directed, or autonomously go to, any department for which they are trained and competent to provide nursing support. The RN must maintain proof of competency to ensure they are performing at the expected level of patient care. The patient age range is 0-120 years old.Requirements: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. 6 months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting is required. Current unencumbered California RN License. Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS and PALS. BLS must be from American Heart. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
