Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Mount Shasta, California
 

Assignment Details

  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: 12-Hour Nights
  • Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • Floating: First to float

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and neonatal teams
  • Educate patients and families on childbirth and newborn care
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies with critical thinking and precision

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
  • License: Active RN license (required at submission)
  • Education: BSN not required

Required Certifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW) Floating: First to float
