Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Opportunity for a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in a well-equipped healthcare setting located in Belpre, OH. This travel assignment offers a structured Monday through Friday day shift schedule with one day of on-call coverage per week, allowing for a balanced work-life routine while expanding your professional experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic nuclear medicine scans including stress, gastric, gallbladder, bone, parathyroid, thyroid, brain, and renal imaging.
  • Support a team of three technologists operating two state-of-the-art scanners.
  • Adhere to established protocols to ensure patient safety and image quality.
  • Participate in one scheduled call day weekly (4:30 p.m. 6 a.m. weekdays), with possible weekend/holiday rotation call (6 a.m. 6 a.m.) requiring a minimum two-hour call-back response if needed.
  • Not involved in PET scans or the regulated nuclear medicine therapeutic program.
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as GE NM830 (installed 2022), GE Optima 640 SPECT/CT (installed 2018, updated 2022), and Q-Stress machines with integrated worklist and blood pressure monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio state license.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) or ARRT(N).
  • Ability to obtain Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure; applicants with licensure already in hand preferred for rapid placement.
  • Updated resume and one professional reference.
  • Compliance with Relias Checklist and submission of SSN, DOB, and interview availability.

Schedule Details:

  • Orientation on Wednesday with unit start Thursday.
  • Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • One day per week call coverage as outlined.
