Job responsibilities:

• Work 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.
• Verify patient identifiers and specimen information to reduce pre-analytical errors.
• Collect, process, and prepare specimens according to established handling and labeling protocols.
• Follow infection prevention practices and safe handling procedures for biohazard materials.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and specimen integrity practices when applicable.
