$1,870 – $2,010

Location:

Women's Breast Care Center, Atlanta, GA (Fulton County)

Contract Length:

13 weeks (Mammography travel assignment)

Shift:

8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm), Monday–Friday

Hours:

40 hours per week

Setting:

Breast Care Imaging – Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density (DXA)

Travel Assignment:

Open to travel radiologic technologists; no local candidates within 50 miles

Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in mammography or breast imaging

ARRT Mammography certification required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Experience operating Hologic imaging systems preferred

At least one prior travel assignment completed preferred (travel radiology experience)

Strong patient communication skills and ability to work in a high-volume clinical environment

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic screening and diagnostic mammograms following facility protocols

Conduct breast ultrasounds, bone density (DXA) scans, and assist with image-guided breast biopsy procedures

Provide compassionate patient care for approximately 100 patients per day in a fast-paced breast imaging center

Operate and maintain Hologic imaging equipment with proficiency and troubleshoot basic technical issues

Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and multidisciplinary team members to support exceptional patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient records, PACS image management, and adhere to regulatory and quality assurance standards (MQSA where applicable)
