Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM • Rotating shift times as needed Monday through Friday • Weekend coverage required per call policy (every other weekend) • On-call required: 3-4 weekday and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule (can vary based on unit needs) • Holiday coverage as needed (discussed in advance) • Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract • Must have 2 years of experience (will consider 1 year if Level 1 trauma facility experience) • Scrub experience required for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures • Circulate experience required • Must be comfortable with cardiac and thoracic cases primarily • Handle vascular procedures (open and endovascular), transplant cases (liver, kidney, pancreas), and Whipple procedures • Heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift • Must respond to emergency calls within 40 minutes (turnaround time from call to clock-in) • Float within service line as needed • Work in 16-room cardiovascular OR department • Responsible for entering missing instruments into CensiTrac system • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • BSN preferred • EPIC charting experience preferred • Must maintain home address at least 75 miles from facility • Navy scrubs required
