Position Overview The Trainee Shift Supervisor position is a vital entry-level role designed to equip employees with the skills necessary for future supervisory positions, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. As a Trainee, you will engage in foundational operations and management training while learning key business strategies, including enhancing customer loyalty through exceptional service and embracing the CVS/pharmacy culture. Successful completion of the training program prepares you for potential promotion to an Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor role, where you will support the CVS Store Management team in executing store performance while fostering consumer loyalty through outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with store management and team members. Supervise store crew by assigning tasks, directing activities, and following up. Communicate important information between store management and staff. Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and complaints. Promote CVS's customer service culture: greet, offer help, and thank customers. Address customer relations concerns in line with company policy, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain confidentiality of customer and patient information. Qualifications: Successful candidates will possess strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills along with advanced communication abilities. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including the willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Preferred Experience: Previous retail experience. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Expected Hours: This position is a full-time role with an anticipated schedule of 40 hours per week. Shift Availability: Candidates must be able to meet the required schedule. Compensation: The typical pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate for roles in this job grade. The actual salary will be determined based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
