Are we the road to your future? We are currently searching for an experienced Traffic Engineer In Training to support our Southwest Region located in Texas .

What you’ll be doing: Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments Performs other duties as assigned What you need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Previous internship/co-op experience in transportation and municipal design desired 2-4 years of experience EIT certification is required Experience with OpenRoads Designer is highly preferred Previous experience with TxDOT preferred Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
