Our Core Tax Services (https://www.cbh.com/services/tax/) team is currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager, however, we are also open to considering a Director for this role if they bring extensive experience in pension plan administration and form 5500 preparation.
As a TPA Senior Manager, you will:
Oversee the administration of various pension plans (defined contribution and defined benefit), ensuring compliance with ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations
Manage and mentor a team of pension plan administrators, providing guidance and support
Direct and review the preparation and filing of form 5500 and related schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Leverage your project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Lead Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic environment
Demonstrate superior client service skills
Qualifications for this role include:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Extensive experience (typically 7+ years for Senior Manager, 10+ years for Director) in pension plan administration, including significant experience preparing and reviewing form 5500
Deep understanding of ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations related to pension plans
Proven ability to manage and mentor a team
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
