About the Role Join our team as a Temporary Retail Sales Associate, where you'll have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while gaining valuable experience in a retail environment. In this role, you will ensure efficient operations at the point of sale while creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. What You'll Do Welcome customers and assist them with their needs by providing product information and support during their shopping experience. Accurately handle transactions at the cash register, including scanning items, processing payments, and bagging merchandise. Achieve personal goals in sales and customer engagement, including promoting loyalty programs. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper handling of point of sale and merchandise practices. Help onboard new team members by sharing best practices and training on company standards. Participate in daily operational tasks such as balancing cash registers and maintaining supply levels. Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: Experience in retail or a customer service-related field. Maintain consistent attendance and meet the scheduling requirements set by the company. Perform all essential job functions as listed in the physical requirements section. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs with assistance. Capability to climb, squat, bend, twist, reach, lift, and move regularly. Willingness to stand or walk for the entirety of your scheduled shift. Able to visually inspect merchandise and verify information accurately. Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
