Short And Stout Tea Company in Albany, NY is looking for a part-time helper to join our TEAm. Available shifts are 10-4, 3-8 or mid-day around 11-5. We can be somewhat flexible and can work around school schedules (if any). This is a great opportunity for students or someone who already has a fullt-time job and would like to pick up extra hours. No experience is necessary -- We’ll train. You just need to come with a good work ethic! 

Kitchen Responsibilities

• Assisting our cook to prepare pastries and food using our menu recipes
• Maintaining clean, neat and orderly working area as well as storage, refrigerators, freezers, stove, oven and other kitchen equipment
• Checking inventory and receiving deliveries if arriving during your work hours (At times, you may need to carry boxes of 25-50lbs.)

Retail & Tea Bar Responsibilities

• Assisting retail customers at retail areas 
• Packing and restocking of loose tea and merchandise
• Collaborates with the TEAm to restock supplies and ingredients as needed
• Working register and delivering food/ drink

Must be 18 years or older with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail and passion for quality, safety and sanitation as well as being proactive and able to multi-task, hardworking, good time management, and eager to learn. Position can lead to full-time, especially if you can help with the backend including inventory management.
