This Sr. Leadership role reports directly to the Northeast Regional Managing Director. This is an exciting opportunity to shape strategy and expand influence in the Northeast. As a key leader, you will build, innovate, and drive meaningful impact, positioning yourself at the forefront of regional success. In this role, you will work with Producers to help manage and grow their book of business. You will strategize with Producers in acquiring and marketing new business, work to ensure a seamless renewal process for clients, and effectively deliver the resources of NFP to our clients. You will provide expert guidance on all commercial coverage lines, with specialized knowledge in Private Equity, Construction, and Real Estate. Experience servicing or providing oversight of a Commercial Lines BOB with large lines of accounts and complex P&C risk is preferred. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in NYC, Boston, or Albany, NY. While you will have flexibility in your work schedule, a significant number of Advisors and clients are located in and around the NYC tri-state area, making periodic client visits within the region essential. It is highly beneficial to be located in the NYC tri-state area or have the ability to travel as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategize and drive new business growth with producers. Maintain ongoing relationships with complex and large clients; act as the subject matter expert on Property & Casualty and carrier products and services. Prepare renewal proposals for presentation to clients, as well as new business proposals. Visit clients to review insurance programs or introduce new products. Act on and complete client requests and/or action items that may arise throughout the year, including meeting with Advisors and Account Management Teams on a regular basis to assist with renewal and communication strategies and address client concerns. Take over client account management on complex accounts as needed. Strategic Responsibilities: Partner with Producers to provide strategic guidance and support to grow and manage their book of business, including Real Estate, Construction, and Private Equity. Liaise between Producer and Account Management staff to effectively deliver NFP services to clients. Provide oversight and accountability on client deliverables throughout the year (e.g., renewal policies, stewardship reports, pre-renewal strategies). Build and maintain effective NFP corporate relationships. Assist in finding, selecting, and training future Strategic Client Managers as the book of business supports growth. New Business: Communicate effectively with prospective clients throughout the sales cycle. Assist in closing prospective clients alongside the Producer, including helping with proposals, analytics, service deliverables, and calendars. Provide strategic guidance on timelines and deliverables with NFP for new clients. Assist Producers in obtaining necessary data from prospects and follow up on open items. Prepare and edit proposals from Marketing and present to prospects with Producer assistance. Research, gather details, and track leads using Salesforce. Attend sales calls and collaborate with Producers to evaluate and drive closures. Marketing/Renewals: Act on and complete client requests or action items throughout the year, including responding to coverage requests, gathering information, communicating with carrier markets, and reviewing quotes for accuracy. Meet regularly with Advisors to assist with renewal strategies and address client concerns. Serve as the communication link between Advisors and Account Management to ensure timely renewal processes, manage renewal calendars, and communicate updates to clients and Advisors. Negotiate with underwriters as needed. Provide feedback on proposals and lead proposal meetings with clients, with or without Advisors present. Document meeting outcomes and follow-up actions to ensure proper execution. Client Retention: Coordinate and conduct mid-year/stewardship meetings with clients. Coordinate broader NFP resources (e.g., Private Equity, Construction, Real Estate) for client needs. Develop and communicate client strategies with the broader NFP team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of commercial property & casualty insurance, with expertise in Real Estate, Private Equity, and Construction. Ability to build relationships and drive business growth and retention. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and make sound decisions. Effective time management, decision-making, and follow-up skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities. Willingness and ability to travel for client visits and work in defined office locations. Ability to interact successfully with diverse personalities and demonstrate leadership skills. Ability to analyze and reconcile financial reports. Technical expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle situations professionally and courteously. Education and Experience: BA/BS degree preferred; Master’s degree in relevant fields (business, statistics, math, science, actuarial science) highly desirable.
