Supervisor Retail Pharmacy - Outpatient Specialty-(250003J0) Description

GENERAL SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of operation of pharmacy services, the day-to-day operation of retail pharmacy, and continuously improving services to meet customer needs. These responsibilities include supervision of assigned staff; ensuring the orderly and efficient delivery of services, management of equipment and supplies; oversight of billing, revenues, and expenditures, and compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Works closely with other professional services to implement related pharmacy services within organization. Responsible for performing the job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the TGH.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Degree (PharmD or BPharm) from an accredited college of pharmacy and completion of a pharmacy residency or equivalent community/institutional pharmacy experience.

Current license as a Registered Pharmacist and in the State of Florida required; additional licensure as Consultant Pharmacist prefe1Ted.
